This was a quick project I saw and thought I would give it a go.
It involved a stitch I have not attempted before the knit front and back (kfb).
I used Sirdar country style wool blend yarn and 4 mm aluminium needles.
The two bumps have to be separately knitted first using the kfb stitch then joined together with a knit 2 together stitch (k2tog) followed by a few rows of plain knit then reductions of stitches again with k2tog.
The yarn was nice to work with and was not rough on my fingers. However I think using a thicker yarn would work better and might be easier to do the kfb stitch with.
The pattern does leave 4 tails to weave in at the end which can add to the work.
These can be used to stitch onto other items or add a ribbon to them to use as hanging decorations.
When I have had time to knit these with thicker yarn I will update this.
